Moore Hardwood Floors specializes in ways to fix hardwood flooring that needs to be cut out, replaced, sanded, and finished to look as if there was never a blemish there to begin with. On most projects we are able to make repairs to solid hardwood flooring and finish in one day (depending on how many coats needed).
PROCESS:
We test your floor for moisture to calculate the extent of damage. After determining that, we mark and measure all boards needed to be removed and replaced. Then cut them out using a finger jointing process to make repair less noticeable after completion. Then we glue and nail the new wood into place. In our final step, we sand and blend to match the new wood with the old.
